Resumption of Plant Production in Semiarid Regions of Northern Gobi

Following natural conditions have been evaluated at locality:

• Topography and morphology of area under interest
• Climatic parameters

• rainfalls
• temperature
• wind

• Geological setting

• hydrogeology and water resources
• geophysical survey (applied metods, geophysical feature of locality, interpretation of geophysical measurements)

New wells have been drilled out at locality and hydrodynamic tests and results evaluation performed together with analyses of groundwater.
Further pedological description of locality have been carried out comprising pedological properties of soils at Buchel locality:

• soil parameters and their development in the project area
  
• saturated hydraulic conductivity of soils in project area
• results of basic analyses of undisturbed samples of soil collected in cultivated areas and effect of farming on soil properties
• effect of irrigation on soil reactivity and specific conductivity of water extract
• agrochemical properties of soil
• locality assessment
  

Evaluation of irrigation systems:

• povrchové bodové zavlažování
• podpovrchové bodové zavlažování
• zavlažování brázdami
• zavlažování postřikovači
• posouzení kvality zavlažovací vody
  

Zpráva dále obsahuje informaci o přípravě pozemku a o principech pěstování jednotlivých plodin (cibule, mrkve, petržele, kopru, červené řepy, cukíny, kedluben, řepy, ředkví, dýní, okurek, kukuřice, brambor, vodních melounů) na venkovních plochách a o pěstování rajčat a okurek ve skleníku.
